Job description:
- To develop concept notes, proposals for socio-economic research and consultancy projects;
- To manage and expand the network of experts;
- To manage, coordinate and participate in the implementation of the research and consultancy projects, from designing study protocols and data collection to data analysis, report preparation and knowledge dissemination;
- To collaborate with other team members and liaise with relevant project stakeholders, including clients, local partners and collaborators to assure that the assignments are completed with highest quality, and within planned timeframe;
- Other tasks assigned where necessary.
Qualifications
- Master or Ph.D. degree in Economics, Development Economics, Health Economics, Statistics, Public Policy and other related fields. Undergraduate candidates with outstanding academic achievements are highly encouraged to apply;
- At least 3-5 years of experience in conducting the socio-economic research and consultancy projects;
- Strong critical thinking, analytical skills and leadership;
- Proficiency in professional statistical software and programming (e.g. STATA, SPSS, R, MATLAB);
- Excellent command in English and Vietnamese;
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently;
- Willingness to travel to several provinces in Vietnam for fieldwork.
